Il B&B Palazzo Fassitelli e' ubicato in un edificio storico
del 1700, nella piazza principale del caratteristico paesino
medievale di Cossignano, 400 m sul livello del mare. La sua strategica
posizione permette di effettuare interessanti escursioni culturali
o naturalistiche anche nell'arco della giornata. La Riviera
adriatica dista solo 16 chilometri e, per gli amanti della natura,
il Parco Nazionale dei Monti Sibillini e' facilmente raggiungibile
con un'ora di macchina.
Il B&B Palazzo Fassitelli, una volta dimora di nobili, conserva
le caratteristiche del fasto di quei tempi: l'ampio salone con camino
ha un prezioso pavimento in mattoni originali e un soffitto affrescato.
Grazie ai muri spessi in estate, all'interno della casa, c'è
sempre una piacevole frescura.
A disposizione dei clienti c'è una ricca biblioteca,
con esauriente materiale informativo sulla zona, TV satellitare,
stereo - con ampia discografia -, lavatrice ad uso comune, pianoforte
ed anche una bella cucina attrezzata.
Le ricche colazioni, servite nel salone, prevedono,
oltre a dolci freschi, una scelta di salumi e formaggi nonché
di frutta di stagione, in parte proveniente dalla propria azienda
biologica. I proprietari, infatti, conducono un'azienda che
fra i suoi prodotti annovera olio di ottima qualità,
vino DOC e mandorle, con certificazione biologica.
CAMERE:
3 camere doppie con bagno, una affrescata e con bagno privato dà
sulla piazza principale, dalle altre due, che hanno una bella vista
sulla campagna circostante, si scorge il non distante mare (le due
camere più grandi si possono trasformare in triple o quadruple)

B & B Palazzo Fassitelli is situated in a historical building(
1700) in the main square of the typical medieval
little town of Cossignano, 400 m above sea level. It’s strategic
position allows for interesting cultural
and nature excursions. The Adriatic Riviera is only 16 km away and
for those keen on nature the Monti Sibillini National Park is only
an hour away.
B & B Palazzo Fassitelli was a noble’s residence still maintains
the features of those days’ magnificence: the wide???? room with
fireplace also has a precious original tiled floor and a frescoed
ceiling.
During the summer the house is always pleasantly cool thanks to the
thick walls.
At guests’ disposal is a rich library with a lot of informative
books about the area, satellite TV, a stereo with a lot of records,
a washing machine for communal use, a piano and a nice fitted kitchen.
Breakfast is served in the large living room and includes fresh cakes,
various kinds of cold meats and salami and many kinds of seasonal
fruit from the on-site organic farm. The owners’ farm
also produces quality oil, DOC wine and organic almonds.
ROOMS:
3 double bedrooms: one frescoed with a private bathroom that overlooks
the main square; the other two have fine views over the surrounding
countryside down to the sea. The two bedrooms are large and could
become sleep 3 or 4 guests.
BESCHREIBUNG:
Das B&B Palazzo Fassitelli befindet sich direkt am Hautplatz des
mittelalterlichen Dorfes Cossignano. Dieser anmutige und ruhige Ort
liegt abseits der Touristenstroeme, auf einer Huegelspitze in 400
Meter Hoehe und bietet einen herrlichen Blick auf den Gran Sasso (Abruzzen)
und die sibillinischen Berge bis hin zum adriatischen Meer, 15 Autominuten
entfernt. In kleinen Ausfluegen geniesst man die reiche Kultur (Ascoli
Piceno etc.), die wunderschoene Natur des sibillinischen Nationalparks
sowie das nahe adriatische Meer. Die schoenen alten und dicken Mauern
und Gewoelbe des Palazzo Fassitelli waren das ehemalige Domizil eines
Adeligen. In dem geraeumigen, mit Fresken verzierten Salon steht eine
Bibliothek mit italienischen und deutschen Buechern (sowie mit Infomaterial
ueber die Gegend) , Sat TV, Stereoanlage zur allgemeinen Verfuegung.
Ebenso gibt es eine Waschmaschine und eine gut ausgestattete Kueche.
Das reichhaltige Fruehstueck besteht aus Brot, hausgemachter
Marmelade, Kaese, Wurst, frisches Obst, teilweise aus eigener biologischer
Landwirtschaft. Die Besitzer haben ganz in der Naehe ein kleines Landgut
mit biologischer Wein-Olivenoel Produktion.
ZIMMER:
3 Doppelzimmer (eins davon mit Deckenfresken) und zwei Badezimmer
(in die zwei groessten Zimmer kann man auch bis zu 2 weitere Betten
dazustellen)
